I have over 10 years of Homeroom experience, teaching PreK, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 students.
Teaching by the IB Curriculum and collaborating with other teachers has given me extensive experience in implementing and applying an inquiry-based programme.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
As a former athlete, I understand the importance of having engaging activities that keep students on task for the entire class.
Extensive homeroom teaching experience helps me in making genuine transdisciplinary connections with other subjects.
COACHING
Sports play a very important role in my life and I consider them a very important part of a child's psychophysical development.
Inspiring young athletes to pursue their passion and seeing them become successful in it is the best reward that one coach could get.
INTERESTS & HOBBIES
SPORTS
Sports play a very important role in my life. I spent over 15 years playing competitive football (soccer) but I enjoy playing other sports too. I have been actively participating in soccer, tennis, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and squash amateur leagues. Besides those "main-stream" sports I also enjoy skiing, and scuba diving.
DESIGN & ARTS
Since high school, I was always showing an interest in comics drawing, and illustration. During my college studies, I used to work in a design studio and various magazine headquarters. I am efficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, ProCreate, and other graphic and video editing software. I often use them for my classes and after-school activities. I have created my own Home Exercise Video Channel for the purpose of Covid-19 pandemic Distance Learning PE lessons.
