The Full Story
About Me
I was born in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia, as the youngest of 3 children. My father was a Yugoslav diplomat, which gave me the opportunity to live and grow up in multiple countries. My family used to live in Lusaka/Zambia, New Delhi/India and Budapest/Hungary.
Living in many countries, learning different languages, and about different cultures made me grow personally. I have met many wonderful people and made friends around the world along the way. I understand international education and globally-mobile students.
Sports have a very important place in my heart. I've played competitive football (soccer) since my second grade. I have been playing for several local clubs in Belgrade for over 12 years. In 1996 I was voted in a U16 Top 11 team of the league. Nevertheless football and sports in general left a huge mark.

Education
As the son of a diplomat, I attended various schools. I was a preschooler at the American Embassy School in New Delhi, India, and completed elementary school in Budapest, Hungary. Due to my father's relocation, we moved back to Belgrade where I finished Middle School. I graduated High School in 1999 at 'XV Belgrade High School', on the Math & Science section, and started my university studies at the Faculty of Mining and Geology in Belgrade.
Speaking fluent English language, having good interpersonal skills, and having my own international school experience, opened the door to the world of international schools. In 2005 I have got my first teaching job as a Teaching Assistant in a PreK classroom at the International School of Belgrade. Working closely with students made me realize that teaching is definitely the career I want to carry on with.
My passion for teaching and love for sports inspired me to switch from engineering and pursue a BA of Applied Studies in Coaching and Youth Sports Management at the Academy of Sports in Belgrade.
I have furthered my studies with a BAS degree in Sports Management at the ALFA University in Belgrade, and along with that I have also completed a Psychological - Pedagogical - Methodical Teaching Certification Programme at the Singidunum University. I am currently working on an MA degree in the field of international education.
My wife and I are proud parents of a girl named Nina and a boy named Luka.
